I am a qualified ultrasound technician offering a mobile pregnancy detection service in the comfort of your home. Best results to detect and confirm pregnancy is from day 28 – 35 from the first day of mating. The ultrasound involves an examination of the abdomen to confirm pregnancy, pictures of your bitches scan saved to a memory stick if you bring one with you or emailed following the scan if you do not have a memory stick. As a breeder of French Bulldogs, I fully understand the involvement and planning a litter and the importance of finding out early whether your bitch is in whelp, avoiding costly expenses and disappointment of a phantom pregnancy. All scans are confidential and we do not store your images once you have them as the owner.
Trained by Vet Image Solutions by two professional ultrasonographers, the leading canine ultrasound scanning training in the UK, I am able to:
– Confidently identify pregnancy and, more important, non-pregnancy
– Use my scanner to tell when a bitch is coming into or out of season
– Spot pyometra in its early stages, before it’s too late (avoid spaying)
– Know what is normal and what is abnormal, and when to refer your client to a veterinarian
